Netzach HaTorah is an exemplary Mesivta under the leadership of Rabbi Yitzchok Yurman.
Netzach is based in Woodmere and serves the broader 5 Towns community. It’s flagship warmth, engaged student body and incredible Rebbeim make Netzach a premier option for local high school boys. Netzach currently has 87 students and is in the final stages of building a large campus that will enable the Mesivta to double its enrollment over the next 2 years. Netzach prides itself on its unique school environment with an emphasis on both Kodesh and Chol.

Netzach is looking for an experienced Principal to head its General Studies division. The Principal will exhibit the leadership skills necessary to create and implement a strong, well-run general studies program. Strong interpersonal skills and educational prowess will enable the Principal to succeed in his role.
$160,000+, Parsonage, QTR

Key Responsibilities

1.Direct supervision of secular studies staff:
→ Formal and informal classroom observations, with follow-up meetings throughout the year
→ Annual written review of staff members
→ Curriculum evaluation and development
→ Recruitment and evaluation of secular faculty including hiring and salaries as approved by the Board of the school
→ Collection and review of monthly teacher lesson plans

2. Administration:
→ Fluency of State and District regulations and implementation
→ Preparation and submission of budget for secular department
→ Supervision of school programs including but not limited to Student and staff orientations, Parent-teacher conferences, Graduation, College Night programs, Honor Society Induction
→ Chair Middle States Committee when applying for accreditation

3. Parent and student relationships:
→ Facilitating an atmosphere conducive to learning
→ Strong communication skills with students, parents, teachers and staff
→ Act as public face of the Mesivta attending public functions, meetings and conferences
→ Interview and evaluate prospective students for admission during Fahers


College degree required. Master’s degree preferred.

Hours: 12pm-6pm M-Th
