Overview

About the Shabbos Project:
With the goal of uplifting the role of Shabbos in the lives of Frum children and their families, the Kedushas Shabbos Project has developed curriculum and engaging raffles, videos and content to help kids connect to Shabbos in a deeper way. Under the leadership of well-known Principals, in three years, we have brought the project to 157 yeshivos across the USA.

The Director will oversee the growth and expansion of the Kedushas Shabbos Project into a communal movement. He/she will create and implement a strategic growth plan that increases programming, outreach, community partnerships, and overall reach. The ultimate goal is to make the Kedushas Shabbos Project a household name and increase overall commitment to elevating Shabbos at home.
Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities

The specific duties and responsibilities of this position include the following:
• Engage Shul Rabbanim, influential community leaders and partner organizations so they support the project in a meaningful and hands-on way
• Conceptualize and implement new programs, content creation and events
• Increase school partnerships, specifically in the Day School community
• Solicit and incorporate feedback to enhance the organization’s impact
• Build relationships with potential donors, identify sponsors for key projects

Requirements

• Desire to take full ownership of assigned projects and take the initiative, utilizing creativity and discretion
• Detail oriented, task oriented, efficient
• Experienced in creating reports for board members
• Work well independently and is self-motivated and detail-minded
• Proven ability to develop trusted relationships with school and community leaders and work cross-functionally with internal leaders and peers
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and re-prioritize as needed
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills; ability to clearly articulate project goals and requirements
