financial planning and accounting operations. The position will include managing the day to day functioning of our finance and accounting department, and establishing targets, developing budgets, and performing financial analysis.
The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with outstanding interpersonal and leadership abilities. The ultimate goal will be to guide the Yeshiva towards financial stability and success.
The Director of Finance will report directly to the CFO.
Key Responsibilities
→ Oversee finance and accounting departments, including: managing and streamlining all processes, and giving directions and delivering periodical evaluations to employees.
→ Oversee the financial strategic planning of the company by evaluating its performance and potential risks.
→ Create usable budgets for the divisions, including evaluating the needs of each division in the long term.
→ Meet regularly with the division leaders regularly to discuss spending and educate them regarding financial planning.
→ Offer advice to the CFO and CAO regarding spending and budget questions.
→ Supervise all audit and internal control processes.→ Supervise the preparation of detailed reports on the company’s financial performance.
→ Guarantee compliance with financial laws and guidelines.
→ Recognize patterns in company spending, revenue, and recommend solutions to any problem areas.
→ Coordinate with external financial entities on behalf of the Yeshiva.
Requirements
→ A minimum of 5 years experience in financial management.
→ In-depth knowledge of accounting software, corporate principles, and financial analysis.
→ Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
→ An analytical mind with good organizational skills.
→ Outstanding leadership skills.
